الوصف المؤدب
polite description
توجد حالتان للوصف المؤدب ( حالة الصفة , حالة الفعل )
حالة الصفة
اولا : اذا كانت الجملة مثبتة والمطلوب مثبت يحتوي على (is) نضع كلمة ( a bit ) قبل الصفة .
مثال
He is lazy . (more polite)
.He is a bit lazy
ثانيا : اذا كانت الجملة مثبتة والمطلوب منفي يحتوي على (is not) نتبع ما يلي :
عكس الصفة + is not + very + الفاعل
مثال
(He is bad at English. (more polite
.He is not very good at English
مثال
(He is stupid. (more polite
. He is not very smart
حالة الفعل
اولا : اذا كانت الجملة والمطلوب يحتويان على (cannot) نضع (very well) في نهاية الجملة .
مثال
(He cannot swim.(more polite
.He cannot swim very well
ثانيا : اذا كانت الجملة تحتوي على (cannot) والمطلوب منفي يحتوي على ( is not ) نتبع ما يلي :
. ت + very good at + v.ing + فعل مساعد منفي + فاعل
مثال
(He can’t paint.(more polite
.He isn’t ------------ painting
نضع في الفراغ
Very good at
مثال
(He can’t play tennis. (more polite
.He isn’t -------------- playing tennis
